HMI at the 22nd Rally Internazionale del Taro

The driver from Como, who reunites with his regular co-driver Nicola Arena who was admirably replaced in Rallye Elba by Giovanni Agnese, will have on the doors of the Korean WRC the number 1, symbol of his lead in the standings but also of the victories obtained in the last two editions of this rally in 2013 and 2014, as well as the one gained in 2006.

Corrado Fontana: "We come to the second round of the championship aware that we have a good potential; the great victory we achieved in Rallye Elba is behind us, now we have to concentrate on this rally which has different characteristics: much bumpier roads, where it is essential to have a good feeling with the setup chosen; the past two years with the Focus we managed it and in both cases we have achieved big wins. I am convinced that I can do well with the Hyundai, a car which is "very sincere". Moreover this year, with the race which takes place a month later than usual, there will be warmer climate and dry roads, in contrast to what usually happens in this rally; less weather-related variables.... but with 13 WRC at the start it will be even more important to attack from the start!".
